Hello, my need arises, from when I was a toddler. We were broadsided in a car wreck. We were traveling out of town. I was in the front seat on my fathers lap. There wern't any seat belts or carseats back then. I ended up under the dash board. Needless to say my front baby teeth gone. When my teeth grew back in, they weren't exactly perfect. My uppers fronts were, overlapping, as well as 2 front bottom ones. My parents couldn't afford the dentist. So I grew up, going through life not smiling. Kids were cruel, calling me snaggle tooth!! To this day, people ask me or tell me smile why don't you? I'm 53 yrs old & honestly never learned to smile. After I married at the age of 20, I did get a thumb plate. What a difference it made. But after awhile, it effected my gums. So I was able to get a bridge oh! what a blessing....... years later. While eating out, I accidently took a bit of food, not knowing there was a peice of hard plastic in it. This cracked my bridge. The resturant was kind enough to replace my costly new bridge, thus having to go one more tooth over. Now, I find myself divorced, recently lost my lease of my beauty salon, after 16 yrs. My bridge is decayed and become loose on one side. I've been to 2 different dentist, & the Baylor Dental College. All of which, have said due to the lenght of my bridge & the curve it would have to make, the alternative is implants.....Which are out of my reach, even if I had a job of somesort. My plans are to go to school to be a medical assistant/billing & coder, and work part-time. I won't be very hirable or look professional at school, being toothless all across the front of my mouth. Besides I would feel very emberessed, not good for my selfestim. I'am in despret need of help. I would be very apprecitive, if someone out there would help me. I would work for you in return, I'm sure there's something I could do.
